Birthday Card

I have just finished this greeting card for my beautiful sister-in-law I think it a big O birthday but she isn't telling lol - I thought you might like to see it so here it is.

Red Lady Greeting Card

I love making greeting cards. I look for an old fashion lady print that has some flowers and items that stand out from the print these items I embroider, add braid or silk ribbon to highlight the items which makes the card come alive and look 3D. This card is for a friend who has just turned 50.

Red Purse

Another picture of my Red Purse "Mulin Rouge" I have stitched some seam embellishments and some silk ribbon flowers. I am a little stuck at present on what to do on the lovely large red roses on the left side bottom, I don't want to cover them up with embellishments but would like to enhance them with some stitching can I ask for some ideas from the ladies of the group.

Red Purse

Just a sneak look at my new purse. This is just the base front now the work begins

Evening Purse

I have just finished this new Evening Purse. Its a gift for my sister-in-law who lives in Australia. I am going to visit my brother and his family in 16 days so I have made this purse for my lovely sister-in-law who is just like a sister rather and an in-law. I like to take a gift I have made when I visit as I don't have to pay to stay and this is my way of doing something for my stay.

I have added two more pictures of my purse for the ladies that want to see how the purse opens and closes. The small tab to close the purse has a small brace charm on it.

Bracelet for Leslie

Leslie was so kind and made me some beautiful faces. So I thought a gift in return would be

appropriate. I have been playing around with felt and came across a lovely book on how to made felt beads and then to incorporate them with other beads to make jewellery. So I set forth and made the felt beads and put together this bracelet for Leslie, so I hope you like it Leslie it will be in the post soon.

Folded Ribbon Roses

I belonged to a swap and we could do anything we wanted and at the time I was learning to fold ribbon roses - I hope you like them
